About Johnson

Faith that meets everyday life.

I’m Pastor Johnson Oni. I care about helping people connect biblical truth with relationships, choices, and commitments that matter.

A pastor’s heart. A practical voice.

I founded Flowing Grace Ministries and serve as its Lead Pastor. My work brings together pastoral ministry, teaching, and meaningful ceremonies, with a focus on helping people bring faith into everyday relationships and decisions.

I began serving as an evangelist in 1993 and was ordained as a pastor in 1999. Since then, I have been involved in church planting in Virginia, Florida, West Africa, and Malawi. Music and serving the local church remain close to my heart.

I serve as a pastoral and spiritual advisor to Professional Christian Men Fellowship, Glorious Women of Faith, and African Missions for Christ. These relationships extend my ministry into professional networks, community life, and missions. My education includes CAC University of Ibadan Seminary and Liberty University, where I earned degrees in biblical studies, and a master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy at North Central University.

Faith, relationships, and family life

My work speaks to the different realities families face—from preparing for marriage and strengthening a marriage to navigating parenting, blended families, single parenting, and relationships across generations. Drawing on pastoral experience and graduate training in Marriage and Family Therapy, I address communication, conflict, changing roles, and emotional wellbeing with compassion, biblical wisdom, and practical insight.

Here you can explore speaking, weddings and vow renewals, pastoral guidance, and resources in development. Each path begins with listening to what matters to you and bringing practical wisdom to the moment at hand.

Ways I serve

Experience for the moments that matter.

My years in ministry have taken me into churches, conferences, family conversations, and communities facing change. These are four ways that experience can serve you.

Speaking and leadership

I speak at youth conferences, men’s and women’s gatherings, leadership events, pastoral conferences, and training for church workers. I also bring a pastoral perspective to professional fellowships and corporate audiences, addressing integrity, cooperation, purposeful leadership, relationships, and the demands of work and family life. My aim is to offer biblical wisdom and practical encouragement that meet people where they are. Explore speaking.

Marriage and meaningful ceremonies

I welcome couples preparing for a first marriage, couples working to strengthen their commitment when divorce has entered the conversation, and couples choosing to renew their vows. Each conversation begins with their story, their faith, and the future they hope to build. Explore weddings and vow renewals.

Faith and mental health

My pastoral experience and graduate training in Marriage and Family Therapy inform my voice on relationships, emotional health, and the church’s response to people in pain. I speak about listening with care, reducing stigma, and recognizing when professional mental health support is needed. The framework for individual pastoral guidance is still in development. Read the approach.

Teaching resources

I am developing reflections and conversation tools to help people apply biblical wisdom to everyday choices, relationships, and seasons of change. See what is in development.

Together in service

Johnson and Shamaha

My wife, Pastor Shamaha Oni, and I serve together through Flowing Grace. We are blessed with three children. Our church, community outreach, and missions are rooted in the call to testify to the gospel of God’s grace (Acts 20:24).

This is my personal site. For the full story of our shared ministry, visit Flowing Grace.
